Nutrition Support Patient-Care Impact Program

Applications are open for the ASHP Foundation's Pharmacist Nutrition Support Patient-Care Impact Program!   

Supported by an educational grant from Baxter and offered in collaboration with ASHP's Section of Clinical Specialists and Scientists, this innovative program aims to develop clinical leaders with the knowledge and skills to optimize the nutrition support needs of patients. The competitive program invites applications from preceptors or residency program directors who, if selected, identifies an incoming postgraduate year 2 resident to participate with them.

Preceptor and resident pairs will:   

• Complete the ASHP/ASPEN Nutrition Support Certificate
• Develop and execute an individual project related to a nutrition support opportunity
• Participate in virtual meetings with their cohort
• Engage with recognized pharmacy leaders in nutrition support

Applications must be submitted by a preceptor or the residency program director, who will select a resident to participate in the program and will serve as the program participant's sponsor.
